Abstract Wallpaper in photoshop

Let's make a nice wallpaper with a nice flower design.
Open a new file, say 1024x768 ( or you can use any size), and fill the background with any color, preferably a light color!





Now create a new layer and choose a opposite color than the one of the background! Then choose the circle tool and make a circle that overlaps over the whole canvas and is slightly down from the top and bring down the opacity to 50%.



Create two more layers lowering where you draw the circle each time. You can change the opacity to the other layers as you wish.




Make a new layer and change the color to white. Choose a custom shape and draw some of varying sizes.





Make a new layer with the opacity 25%, choose a new shape and try to use your imagination!






Choose the line tool, make a new layer and draw custom lines all over the canvas.(Layer set to overlay)





Now you cand add a twirl (filter -> distort -> tworl) and a wave (filter -> distort -> wave)
